Making connection to a web printer: "Filter" failed

What happened

When I tried to install Acanthus print system into my new MacBook Pro (Mojave), I could not find a window to enter certification information. Therefore, although I COULD connect my Mac to the printer, I COULDN'T print anything since error message "Filter" failed appered.

What I've tried

I've tried various ways such as:

• Seek all windows
• Re-start my Mac
• Goooooooogle
• Re-installation of drivers

Solution

Finally I found it. What I all had to do was to check Share this printer on the network which appears in Printers&Scnanners window:

If this is on, a window to enter certification will emerge.

What to learn from this

Check your versions of applications and drivers to install before you push install button.
